While its appearance may resemble the famous Alpine mountain from a distance, climbing to its summit is a much less strenuous affair and offers a moderate afternoon hiking opportunity with fantastic views of North Wales. From Porthmadog, a short drive takes you to Croesor, where the main trail to Cnicht begins.
