The Aran Hard Shell Roof Tent comes packed with features including a robust design with stainless steel gas struts, thermal insulation, a 7cm foam mattress, additional roof bars and a 147cm width that set it apart from other RTTs of it’s kind.
When closed, the tent measures 211 cm in length, 147 cm in width, and 24.5 cm in height. This slim design heightens the aesthetics of the tent on your vehicle, while also improving aerodynamics. It opens to reveal a spacious sleeping area for 3-4 people. Detachable roof bars offer additional storage space.
The 420D Polyester rainfly gives a sheltered entry and exit from all angles while the quilted thermal insulation layer inside the tent reduces heat loss and prevents light infiltration to create a cosy, comfortable interior. The 280G Polyester – Cotton main fabric provides a reliable, breathable and mould resistant barrier against even the harshest weather conditions.
The Aran’s spacious interior (135cm x 202cm of sleeping space) comes kitted out with a quilted thermal insulation layer, integrated LED lighting, large storage pockets and a 7cm thick foam mattress with an insulation blanket beneath. The Aran’s thermal insulation helps to create a warmer interior and also reduces light infiltration. The LED lighting gives off a soft ambient light for a cosy evening in your roof top home, while the 7cm foam mattress ensures a comfortable nights sleep.
When deciding on the design for our Aran Roof tent, durability was our principle concern. We wanted to ensure that our roof tents would go above and beyond the expectations of our customers. The Aran’s simple and convenient opening mechanism (4 hinges and 2 gas powered stainless steel struts) greatly enhances its durability when compared with other roof tent designs, while it’s modular construction allows for parts to be easily replaced if damaged. The tent’s canvas can also be removed for cleaning, maintenance and winter storage.
