We believe that the Aran ranks among the best roof tents on the Market. Designed with durability as our number one consideration, it provides a balance of aesthetics, functionality, and comfort.
Design and Features
Lightweight Durability: Weighing in at 75kg the Aran is constructed to balance durability with maximized internal space while maintaining compatibility with the widest possible range of vehicles. The Arans ‘clamshell’ design with it’s simple opening mechanisms and modular construction, further enhances durability by reducing the impact of ware and tear and allowing for easy replacement of damaged parts. The Aran’s thermal insulation layer and canvas can also be easily removed and reinstalled, facilitating cleaning, maintenance and winter storage.
Compact Yet Spacious: When closed, the Aran measures 211cm in length 24.5cm in height and boasts an exceptional, extra wide 147cm width. The slim design heightens the aesthetics and improves aerodynamics while driving and once opened, it transforms into a spacious sleeping area for 3-4 people.
Weather Resistant: The 420D Polyester rain fly, 280g Polyester-Cotton main canvas and Stainless Steel Opening struts with 420n of opening force provide excellent resistance to wind and rain, while the quilted thermal insulation layer on the interior works to prevent heat loss and reduce condensation.
Convenient Storage: Removable roof bars on top of the tent offer storage for up to 30k (dynamic load), while external shoe bags and internal storage pockets provide additional storage options. The space within the tent when closed allows for bedding and other items to remain within the tent, while driving.
Comfortable: The Arans 7cm foam mattress and condensation mat provide a comfortable base for sleeping. Windows can be opened to allow light and airflow, while the fine insect mesh on the doors keep insects out. An LED strip on the interior provides lighting after dark.
Ease of Access: A 2.3m telescopic ladder ensures easy access from 3 directions.
